What is the e-CUBE

The e-CUBE is a powerful UNIX-based server which is RELIABLE, SECURE, and FAST and fully AUTOMATED. It contains a RAID drive array, performs AUTOMATED UPLOADS to an Internet data server, and can optionally BURN data to inexpensive DVD disks - all completely unattended. You'll find the e-CUBE the most RELIABLE employee you've EVER had! The e-CUBE server ensures that you have up to FIVE COPIES of your data - these copies distributed both on and off-site. The e-CUBE server itself maintains TWO identical copies of your data on its RAID drives.

It is also important to point out that, thanks to its high-level encryption capability,the e-CUBE is FULLY compliant with both the U.S. and the Canadian Privacy Standards and Guidelines designed for practitioners in the health industry as embodied in HIPPA (USA) and PIPEDA (Canada)

Backups are REGULAR and completely AUTOMATED - no human involvement required!

You can EASILY ACCESS backed up files directly from your PC whenever needed - there is no necessity for a restore process. Additionally, you can access EARLIER VERSIONS of files you may have accidentally deleted or changed.

Each day, a SECURE, ENCRYPTED copy of your data is stored OFF-SITE on a secure Internet server - a vital safeguard in the event of FIRE, THEFT or other NATURAL DISASTERS! (Dependent on Service Plan selected).

The e-CUBE can optionally BURN large data and image files onto inexpensive DVD disks providing additional off-site redundancy.

You receive daily e-mails to CONFIRM that data backup occurred SUCCESSFULLY. The email lists all files included in the backup. (Dependent on Service Plan selected).

Status notification of any backup errors is immediately EMAILED to the e-CUBE Control Centre AND to your office administrator. (Dependent on Service Plan selected).
