Solutions: Network Layout
The diagram below illustrates the way in
which the e-CUBE integrates into a typical peer-to-peer small-office
network. Scroll below the illustration to read a step-by-step explanation
of just how the data moves in a configuration like this:

-
The e-CUBE plugs directly into
your network
-
A utility on each computer copies
important files/folders that you identify onto the e-CUBE's RAID hard
drive system. Your staff NEVER need to remember to perform this
procedure.
-
If a user needs to access these backed up
files, they can do so without going through any complicated restore
procedures, using simple drag-and-drop techniques.
-
At the end of the work day, the e-CUBE
gathers up new and altered files, encrypts them for security
reasons, and uploads them to an internet-based secure server
outside the office.
-
An additional option allows the e-CUBE to
create a DVD copy of those same files, thereby providing additional
offsite redundancy.
-
In the event of an office disaster, your
files can be retrieved either from the internet server
(using any Internet-connected PC) or from the DVD disks.

The e-CUBE encrypts your data to the highest industry standard BEFORE uploading it to the
internet. You are the only one who holds the decryption key,
so no one can EVER view, or tamper with, your data.
